Palouse Brand's Green Split Peas are packaged in these 25 pound buckets for emergency and long-term storage purposes. Our 3.5 gallon buckets and their compact design make for optimal storage while also featuring a special rubber gasket lid that will reseal and continue to provide a dark, cool, air-tight environment for these green split peas. These are especially important conditions for our green split peas as the dark environment provided by the bucket with prevent any sun fading from these brilliantly colored peas. We only offer the most current year's vintage so that we can continue to ensure the freshness of the product we supply.
Palouse Brand Green Split Peas are proudly grown on our 125 year old family farm in order to provide our customers with an authentic farm to table experience. After we harvest the peas they are transported to our cleaning facility, where they are split, triple-cleaned to show off their deep dark green color, and brilliant shine, and then packaged to send to our customers. We love to use these beautiful peas for so many more recipes than the standard split pea soup recipe. Some of our favorites include a vegan pistachio ice cream, no-bake energy bites, and a protein power smoothie. Our family takes pride in offering food safe certifications on our products and our facilities are audited annually by multiple agencies to ensure that we are providing our customers with the most beautiful, high quality, and authentic farm to table products.
